Living on the River is a great blessing with regular sightings of the elephant who I have come to love so much.  They are such a close unit and interact with one another all the time.  They can keep you amused for hours as they frolic in the river, feed along the banks and then have their favourite dust shower after a swim.  Mother is never too far away from her baby, especially as the crocodile floats past.  We had a sighting of approximately 60 buffalo early this morning, as the sun came up, in fact as I type this blog a small herd of about 10 have just come down to the river to drink and lie in the water on this  hot day!   Ok so 10 has become 12, 13, 14, 15 and so we go!  Need to be constantly on the look out as things chance on a minute to minute basis.
